Welcome to The Piedmont Farmers Market
Residents in Cabarrus County can enjoy produce from the Piedmont Farmers Market all year long. Along with providing locally grown, fresh, high-quality food to its customers, the Market is a place where friends gather and community ties are renewed and strengthened.
The Winecoff Farmers Market is the oldest farmers market in Cabarrus County. Extended hours for the Saturday market begin the 2nd Saturday in April which is also the date of the popular and well-attended Herb Festival. This is formally known as the Cabarrus County Master Gardeners Spring Herb and Plant Festival where over 75 vendors sell herbs, perennials, annuals, seedlings for numerous vegetable varieties (and advice on how, when and where to plant), handmade arts and crafts items, and locally produced items from soaps and lotions to jewelry and pottery.
The Downtown Market in Concord opens in May on Wednesdays from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and provides an excellent lunchtime opportunity for the downtown employees to pick up local, delicious and nutritious produce.
Les Myers Park Thursday Market: The market is excited to partner with Concord Parks and Recreation for this new market on Thursday afternoons in the lower parking lot of Les Myers Park (338 Lawndale Avenue, SE) from 4-7 through the summer and into the fall.
The Harrisburg Market is held in the park on Mondays behind the restored Post Office (and next to the train tracks). Although the official opening and closing dates are April through October, unofficially the market remains open on Mondays year round selling beef, chicken, pork, eggs, and produce.
